during most of the song, dave uses a boss delay pedal set to 250-270 ms and
about 5 repeats. this will be noted by delay on/off . be aware, however, that
I'll tab the repeats just as they were picked notes. also, the tone of the
guitar is rather interesting. the clean tone is very much an uncompressed
distortion channel with the volume on the guitar turned down. I'll still use the
names clean and distortion but keep in mind that there isn't much difference
between them in this song. and now to the song!

okay, after you do the first two verse/aurora/chorus/postchorus parts, it goes
into the 'second movement'. guitar 1 is busy embellishing the verse part, while
guitar 2 is doing this:

there's a bunch of weird noises there too, but they're not guitar generated, so
I won't tab them, and also because I don't care about them! after that part, all
the guitars are pounding out an A5 [x022xx] while the one plays the clean tone
part
(first tabbed part in the second movement). this is easy! after that is the
end. guitar one does the verse part real loud while the other guitar is pounding
out an A5 in an inconsistent rhythm
(therefore permitting me not to tab it). The
chord is like this [x x 7 9 10 x]. but wait, there's one more bit! after the
final part, the last guitar does this:
