I know that's hard to read but it's basically an inverted B chord
(F#, B, D#) and an A chord
(A, C#, E),
played in quarter notes 1, 2, 3, 4, the whole way through.
Next up is the intro or main melody on the treble.
Since the above looks so crappy I'm just going to
write it out, with lines between the bass chord changes and periods to
give you basic note length, and
the notes line up with the chord change below.
[intro]
D#...C# D# | E... D# C# | D# E D#... C# B# | C#...c
BASS CHORD: B A B A
B C# D#... C# D#| E... F#.. | B......
BASS CHORD: B A B A
[verse one]
start at
(0:39)
Basically play the chords alone but before you change to B each time, tap the F# above it twice in
eighth notes, the second one landing on the chord change.
(listen to the actual song) Also, you can
hit the high C# on the A change sometimes.
Basically you play B, A
(x 4)
[verse two]
little bit of melody playing comes in
(1:05)
F# F#
(octave up) G# C#
bass: B A
play this TWICE, the final time it goes like this:
F# F#
(octave up) G# C# ..B......C#......
bass: B A
leading into what i'm going to call the chorus
(1:32)
[chorus]
Your treble melody plays
B Bb
(x4)
A Ab
(x4)
over the bass chords. it might sound a little better if you double up the treble part, playing the
same note an octave above.
do this FOUR times.
play the INTRO again starting at
(1:58)
play the VERSE ONE bit again at
(2:24)
go into the VERSE TWO part at
(2:49)..... be aware though, i think the rhythm of the melody changes
very slightly
play the CHORUS again
(3:15)
outro: back to the VERSE ONE part at
(3:40) that goes on and on and on until the END.
